Death Of An Icon

Death Of An Icon (DOAI) are a four-piece rock band from Cardiff, with a twist. The sound is taking a trip back to the most influential period in American music. Taking influence from iconic bands such as Alice in Chains and Soundgarden but adding the raw foot-stomping power of Rage Against the Machine makes them an exciting band to watch. The band was formed from members of Ill System (Bobby Addison: Guitar, Owen Lowry: Bass)...

Bixby Canyon

Bixby Canyon are:
Jake - Vox/guitar
Yelo - Bass
Fletcher - Drums Bixby Canyon (is that a Death Cab reference?) are harsh and grungy. Their frontman probably needs a bigger stage, even with the mic stands moved onto the floor he’s bouncing off his bandmates and running off to do a lightning lap of the half-empty room. Their unassuming bass player looks like Michael Cera, so it’s an impressive surprise when he steps up to the mic and screams like his guts are on fire. - Jody MacGregor - Rave Magazine live review

Senator

Being able to operate completely outside the typical machinations of music - independent or otherwise Senator are going to carve out a sizeable niche in the sewage-infested gutters of underground rock & roll. After sending a demo tape to the infamous engineer and guitarist Steve Albini (ex-Just Ducky, Big Black, Rapeman) the legendary Nirvana producer invited the Scottish trio (Nick Middlemiss vocals/guitar, Tom Lee Bass, & Ross McLennan Drums) to his US electrical audio studios to produce their debut album "United Wire".
