Slynk (born 1986) has musical roots that run deep. Before he’d left school he was addicted to music and teaching himself how to produce funky joints in his bedroom. In 2004 he was given his first pair of decks as a gift which spurred a strong addiction to vinyl. He scored his first residency in his hometown Brisbane, Australia 2006 djing every Friday night at a New York style café underground. This is where he stayed for close to 2 years experimenting and refining his skills.

With unique styles that play off each other well, Tame and El’s graff-rap was well received by underground audiences and continued in the Jersey rap tradition of Redman and Lords of the Underground.

The Chemical Brothers

The Chemical Brothers are a British electronic music duo comprising Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, who met at the University of Manchester, England in 1992. Initially they called themselves "The Dust Brothers." They changed their name in 1995 given the preexisting American duo "The Dust Brothers," their burgeoning popularity and the threat of legal action from the originals. Thus, their first album as The Chemical Brothers was titled Exit Planet Dust.

Jean Jaques Perrey

Jean-Jacques Perrey (born 1929) is a French electronic music producer and was an early pioneer in the genre. He is best known within the sphere of popular music as a member of the influential electronic music duo Perrey And Kingsley Perrey was born in France in 1929. He was studying medicine in Paris when he met George Jenny, inventor of the Ondioline. Quitting medical school, Perrey travelled through Europe demonstrating this keyboard ancestor of the modern synthesizer.

Slab

There are many bands under the name Slab, most notably the one that appeared on the Jazz Satellites, Vol 1: Electrification compilation in 1996, who fuse elements of jazz, post-punk and funk. 2. A rock group from Tartu, Estonia., active between 2004-2006. During their rather short existence they made one demo (School is over). Everybody hated it, including the band themselves. There have also been comments about the singers singing abilities. He himself found it very sad. He has also said he didn't like the fact that SlaB was sometimes considered a punk-rock band.
