Balaam and the Angel

Balaam and the Angel are a gothic rock band formed in Cannock, Staffordshire, England during 1983. The three founding members of the band are Scottish brothers; the Morris brothers (James Morris, Mark Morris and Des Morris). As children in Motherwell, they worked in the entertainment industry as part of a cabaret act. They moved south to England, to Cannock, Staffordshire, where they formed Balaam and the Angel. 1985 saw the band augment their line up with keyboard player ‘Wendy Harper’.

The band was founded by The Crazy Singer Dj Alien S Pagan in September 2006, Romeo and Manu/Zorch ( Camp Z / Zorch Factor ) (both former members of Sleeping Children) Join The Band a few months later in Paris. After a few beers they decided to play together and to work on a DIY concept for the band, fiercely determined to pursue the lineage of French Coldwave, Deathrock, Batcave. They recorded a 5-tracks demo to spread their evil sounds and are preparing a full debut album that should be finished next year.

Specimen was an 80s batcave British band. They have been described as being many different genres of music, including; glam, goth, punk and deathrock. Biography The band formed in Bristol, England during 1980. Their first show was at a street party celebrating the wedding of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. In 1982, the band relocated to Soho, London, where they would play many shows at the infamous club known as The Batcave, Specimen's vocalist Ollie Wisdom founded and ran the club during 1982-1983.
