About The Five Corners Quintet In 2005, The Five Corners Quintet from Helsinki took the international dancefloor jazz scene by a storm. “Chasin’ the Jazz Gone By”, their debut for Ricky-Tick Records, a label that was initially conceived of as a vehicle for releasing the very first TFCQ vinyl single, proved out to be both an artistic and a commercial success story. For once and for all, the album proved that it is possible to look back while moving forward.

CavOk are an indie/alternative band formed in Colchester, Essex. Their sound crosses over though the many genres of popular rock and ‘Indie’. Lyrics that will strike a chord with everyday life and their wonderfully modern-retro image. For fans of more traditional rock they have the beats, intricate guitar interplay and that driving sound that could equally take you on a spiritual journey down route 66 or the M6 to the post-punk badlands of Manchester.

Sonata Arctica

Sonata Arctica was formed in 1996 on the edge of the world, in the northern Finnish town of Kemi. Originally was formed as Tricky Beans, they released few demos and as they got the contract they had to change their name.
In 1999 the band recorded a new demo "FullMoon" in Tico Tico Studios located in their hometown, Kemi. At the time of recording the line-up consisted of: Tony (vocals/keys), Jani (guitars), Tommy (drums), and Janne (bass).

Von Hertzen Brothers

Von Hertzen Brothers is a Finnish progressive rock band. It consists of three brothers Kie, Mikko and Jonne von Hertzen. On their latest album "Love Remains the Same" (2008), Mikko Kaakkurinniemi (drums, percussion) and Juha Kuoppala (piano, keyboards) are listed as part of Von Hertzen Brothers. Their debut album "Experience" was released in 2001. In 2006, they released their second album titled Approach. Their third album, Love Remains The Same, came out on the 14th of May 2008 and went straight to #1 on the official Finnish album charts.

Demi-God

Demi god are a UK Death metal/Thrash band located in the east of england. Early material heavily influenced by Lamb of God.. More recent material is more influenced by Death metal in general.

Dauntless

Dauntless is finnish / band. Dauntless was founded in 1991 by Sami Helle (vocals/guitar), under the name on Maniax, shortly thereafter joined by drummer Santeri Salmi and bassist Tuomo Tukkimäki. The first demo "Face The Fact" was released 4 years later, and the second, called "Prophecy...", in 1996. The music was some sort of hardcore-influenced thrash metal. In 1998, the initial band name was changed to Dauntless, and the music begun to seek its current shape.

Klimax

There are two bands called Klimax: a Finnish hardcore/punk band, and a Cuban timba band led by Giraldo Piloto. Giraldo Piloto's Klimax is one of the most sophisticated and original of Cuba's major timba bands. Descended from a line of famous Cuban musicians and composers, Piloto has been omnipresent throughout the first decade of timba history as a drummer, a songwriter and an arranger. He was a founding member of the first timba band, NG La Banda.

Auburn

"Auburn," as you will quickly notice, refers to more than one band. First is an R&B/pop singer who sings "La La La." Most other tracks are from a southern metalcore band of the same name. According to the La La La Songfacts, Auburn Williams was born in Minneapolis to a single mother. She began singing in church and listened to nothing but gospel music as a kid. When she was 13, Auburn began performing with a local all-girl group called Loyal and she continued to work on her songwriting, posting tracks on her MySpace page growing her fanbase the grass-roots way.
