Ashley Naylor

Ashley Naylor is best known as the vocalist, guitarist, and main songwriter for the Australian mod/pop group Even who have recorded four albums and numerous EPs and singles since the mid-'90s. While Even encompass all of the best aspects of the heavier side of the mid-'60s British Invasion (think The Who, The Kinks, The Move, Rolling Stones c. 1964-66) and more recent purveyors of that sound such as The La's, Stone Roses, and Oasis; Naylor's solo debut is more sublime, bringing to styles of vintage Neil Young and the Rolling Stones when Keith Richards was hanging around with Gram Parsons.

The Bites

The Bites were a 3-piece band from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in 2001 and dissolved in late 2005. The songs are the most important thing. They are short, sharp, state their point and then they stop. Rhythm and melody are equally crucial in The Bites. The nucleus of The Bites are Kirsty and Rene. Other members have come and gone since the band started in 2001. Their philosophy is one of maintaining true independence and complete artistic control over all aspects of their music.

Five Star Prison Cell

Dubiously labeled a "Tech metal", or "Math Rock" band, Five Star Prison Cell offer a different and non-conformist approach to songwriting. Brutally heavy, Dark and forboding with the ability to switch time, pace, genre and style at the drop of a hat; Adam, Cam, Mark and Marc take great pleasure in constantly challenging themselves while at the same time serving up a dish of fresh new and always evolving ideas to their unsuspecting but ever growing fan base.

Deaf Wish

Deaf Wish began in a soggy West Melbourne rehearsal room in May 2007, standing around screaming and bashing through songs with one solid philosophy: ‘go to feedback’ when things fall apart. After a handful of rehearsals, they recorded 10 songs and played 2 shows. Then guitar player Sarah Hardiman flew to the UK and never came back.
Deaf Wish stopped for a year whilst the album was passed around and grew a cult following stemming from punks and spreading around the pubs and yards of Melbourne.

Zeptepi

UK born singer/guitarist Phil Dean jumped ship from his homeland in 2000, making for the sunny shores of Melbourne, Australia. A series of archaic pagan rituals went horribly wrong, forcing him to abandon earlier plans of world-domination, and he decided to return to his musical 'career'. The first Zeptepi demos emerged in 2001, but it wasn't until 2004 that a band was recruited, due mainly to a horrific injury to Phil
