Clipse is a critically acclaimed hip hop duo that formed in Norfolk, Virginia in 1992. The duo is made up of brothers Gene "Malice" Thornton and Terrence "Pusha T" Thornton, who is also currently signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music label. Choking Victim was an American punk band from 1992 to 1999, formed in New York City. The band became notable around "C-squat," in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where they squatted and continue to inhabit and organize shows for their music, which blended ska punk with black metal, and anarchist lyrics. They also became known for Satanic imagery and numerous references to the vagrant lifestyle, such as crack-smoking, shoplifting, and squatting. They also, like many other bands in the punk scene, have violent anti-police sentiments in their songs.
There is more than one artist named Morning Glory: 1) Morning Glory is one of the many bands to spawn from Choking Victim, led by Ezra Crack. They also play ska/punk somewhat like Choking Victim, and members are drawn from the wide pool of punk rock musicians in New York City. In the early days (circa 2001, near the breakup of INDK) Ezra began working on a solo project, but with input and help from many other musicians. With a guitar, an 8-track, and a drum machine, he wrote and produced "This is No Time ta Sleep".
