Sky Ferreira (born July 8, 1992), is an American singer-songwriter, model and actress from Los Angeles, California, United States. In July 2009 she signed a record deal with EMI. Ferreira got her start in her hometown of Los Angeles. She sang gospel songs in church throughout her childhood. At age 13, she started taking opera lessons to refine her singing voice. She spent the next few years maintaining a MySpace profile where she uploaded various tracks.
San Cisco are from Fremantle in sunny Western Australia. On the weekends they love to go skateboarding, play Nintendo 64 and make a bit of indie pop on the side. ALL CAPS is an electronic band consisting of Luke Conard (Ministry of Magic) and Kristina Horner (The Parselmouths). Luke and Kristina live in different states and created their entire debut album, Songs in the Key of E-mail, via email. They came out with their second album together on March 28th 2010, BMin/E, that was for a brief period of time the 6th most popular electronic album on iTunes.
Wolfie is a band from Champaign, IL. Consisting of Joe and Amanda Ziemba, Mike Downey and RJ Porter, they rock pop to a different level. Pick up any of their many CD's and if you enjoy this check out Amanda and Joe's husband and wife duo, The Like Young, an amazing, but retired, Chicago Indie rock duet. Fans of the Like Young be warned, with the exception of 'Tall Dark Hill,' their sound is pretty different than what you're used to.
Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik, born 12 January 1993, is from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Born to British Pakistani father Yaser and an English mother, Tricia Malik (née Brannan), he has one older sister, Doniya, and two younger sisters, Waliyha and Safaa. He grew up in East Bowling, was a pupil at Lower Fields Primary School, and went to Tong High School, a state comprehensive school. Malik did not fit in at his first two schools due to his mixed heritage, and after moving schools at the age of twelve, Malik, states he started taking pride in his appearance.
