Mieka Pauley

Mieka Pauley began as a solo artist in Boston. Her haunting voice and heartbreaking lyrics gained her more than a few fans, securing her bills with Citizen Cope, KT Tunstall, Natasha Bedingfield, Ben Kweller, Mason Jennings, John Legend, the Avett Brothers and many others. She won the first ever Starbucks Emerging Artist Award and the New York Songwriters Circle Songwriting Contest, and she was named Cosmopolitan Magazine's Fun Fearless Female Rockstar of the Year.

Dom La Nena

Dom La Nena is a stage name of Brazilian-born cellist / singer / songwriter Dominique Pinto. Her debut album, Ela, was released in January 2013 (USA and Canada). Dominique Pinto was born in 1989 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She began studying piano at the age of five, before shifting to the cello three years later. At the age of eight Dom moved to Paris while her father pursued his doctorate. Upon moving back to Brazil five years later at the age of thirteen, Dom began writing letters to acclaimed American cellist Christine Walevska.

Sumishta Brahm singer and writer of 13 frightened Girls originally performed solo under the name taken from the early 60's William Castle B-movie. 13 Frightened Girls supported bands on the LA club scene, including The Saints (Chris Bailey), Camper Van Beethoven and Adrian Belew. In the early 80's Sumishta lived in New York City, met Jack Rabid and worked for his influential alternative music magazine, The Big Takeover.

Solo project of Katie Crutchfield of P.S. Eliot and Bad Banana. Waxahatchee is a solo project of songwriter Katie Crutchfield formed after the breakup of P.S. Eliot. She released her first music as Waxahatchee as a split cassette with chris clavin on Plan-It-X Records. Her bedroom-recorded debut album, American Weekend, was released on Don Giovanni Records in 2012. On June 11, 2012 "Be Good" was the song of the day on NPR as well as one of the best 50 songs of 2012. Her debut album, "American Weekend," was named a top album of 2012 by Dusted magazine.

Sally Seltmann is an award-winning songwriter and singer based in Melbourne, Australia. She has previously released albums and performed under the name 'New Buffalo', and is well known as the co-writer of the song '1234', performed by Feist. Sally now returns with Harmony to My Heartbeat, the first single from her new album, due for release in early 2010. Previous recordings by Sally as New Buffalo include her debut EP 'About Last Night', which was released in Australia (through Modular) and the UK (through Heavenly).

Andrea Glass

Hailing from Bolton in the north of England, Andrea Glass is a singer-songwriter. Her style is part folk, part Americana. Her lyrics are poignant and reflective, telling tales ­ real and imagined. Andrea’s love of music started at an early age. She began playing guitar when she was so small that she couldn’t reach the bass strings to play full chords. A brief stint playing borrowed brass instruments and keyboards ended when she rediscovered the guitar at age 14. She then committed herself to learning to play full chords and copying her favourite songs.
