Zayn Malik

Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik, born 12 January 1993, is from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Born to British Pakistani father Yaser and an English mother, Tricia Malik (née Brannan), he has one older sister, Doniya, and two younger sisters, Waliyha and Safaa. He grew up in East Bowling, was a pupil at Lower Fields Primary School, and went to Tong High School, a state comprehensive school. Malik did not fit in at his first two schools due to his mixed heritage, and after moving schools at the age of twelve, Malik, states he started taking pride in his appearance.

Simon Webbe

Simon Solomon Webbe (born 30th March 1979, in Manchester, England) is a member of the English boy band Blue, and also released music as a solo artist with 'a sweet soulful sound reminiscent of The Lighthouse Family'. His first single, "Lay Your Hands", was released on 22nd August 2005, and reached #4 on the UK Singles Chart. His second, "No Worries" also reached #4 in November. Right after the release of his second single, the debut album, "Sanctuary", was released. Despite its #28 debut on the UK album charts, the album began to climb in its later weeks.

Heatwave was a popular international R&B/Funk band with Americans Johnnie Wilder, Jr. & Keith Wilder (vocals) of Dayton, Ohio, Englishman Rod Temperton (keyboards), Spaniard Mario Mantese (bass), Czechoslovakian drummer Ernest "Bilbo" Berger, Jamaican Eric Johns (guitars) and British guitarist Roy Carter. They were known for their hits "Boogie Nights" and "Always and Forever" (from their 1977 debut album, Too Hot To Handle), and "The Groove Line" (from their 1978 follow-up album Central Heating).

Silk

1) Silk was a late 60's psychedelic rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, consisting of Michael Stanley Gee (vocals, bass, guitar), Chris Johns (guitar), Randy Sabo (vocals, keyboards), Courtney Johns (drums). They released one album entitled Smooth as Raw Silk in 1969. 2) Silk is a five-man R&B group best known for their 1993 #1 single "Freak Me" from their debut album Lose Control. They had another hit single from the Lose Control album "Girl U For Me" which helped the album reach double platinum status. They later had success with hits like "Meeting In My Bedroom" and "Tonight."
