Desrcribed as “One of the finest of the young generation” by Martin Taylor MBE, award winning musician Stuart Ryan is known to guitarists the world over thanks to his monthly columns in Guitar Techniques magazine and concerts throughout the UK and beyond. Stuart has appeared alongside some of the world’s leading guitarists including Martin Taylor MBE and the late Eric Roche. He has performed solo at many of the UK’s most prestigious concert venues including The Purcell Room (London SouthBank) and The Sage in Gateshead and has been a featured artist at every major UK guitar festival.

Jazziz praised Brazilian guitarist Badi Assad (pronounced Bah-Jee Ah-Sahje) as "a virtuoso of the highest order" while Guitar Player pegged her as "fearless!" Wonderland, her second for Deutsche Grammophone is not only an album fantasy and hope; it is also a plea for some sanity in this insane world of ours. The CD touches on many taboo topics including rape, prejudice, child prostitution and loss of cultural identity.

Chartwell Shorayi Dutiro started playing mbira when he was four at the protected village, Kagande, about two hours drive from Harare where his family was moved by the Salvation Army missionaries during the Chimurenga. Even though the missionaries had banned traditional music, he learned to play from his brother and other village elders. His mother also encouraged him through her singing of traditional songs.

The band was born in 2003 with the name "Pegatina Sound System" after Ovidi i Adrià meet Rubén, who up to that moment was playing solo. They decided to throw forward the project, without knowing to where it would go. One year later they had more than 20 performances under their belts and were one of the most active groups in the Catalan market. The band were starting to take part in festivals and performances in different places in Spain.
