Lumerians

Distorted clouds of organ, synth, and vibraphone churn above hypnagogic waves of percussion and bass. Referencing psych and prog without the use of guitars, Lumerians create cinematic rock music that is warm, dark, organic and non-retro. Male and female vocals propel songs forward without eclipsing the chimeric ambience of the music. Parallels could be made to the ominous soundscapes of Ennio Morricone, the propulsive rhythms of Can, and the hypnotic oscillations of Silver Apples.

Radiant Sounds of Dust

The Radiant Sounds of Dust are a psych-rock-shoegaze-space-haze-exploratorary-hallucinatory rock n roll band based in Bristol. Formed by J. Tambakis and C. McCracken after they bonded over a love of vintage guitars, valve amps, effects pedals and rock n roll...they are two hedonists in love with the sound of silence as much as noise, crafting sound in space using acoustics, electronics weaving them into songs and noise.

The Search Party

A rare religious rock album by a from Wisconsin band who relocated to Sacramento, California. Many of the tracks feature lovely female vocals, although part of Side Two is more acoustic and folky with male vocals.
At its best the album is superb. A mystical atmosphere is created by the floating, melodic psychedelia of songs like When He Calls, So Many Things Have Got Me Down and The News Is You. Just listen and drift away.

Loop

1) Loop was a South London band founded in 1986 by Robert Hampson and his then wife, Bex. Loop's sound was characterized by strong and influences in addition to the minimalist mayhem of The Stooges and MC5. Their songs were almost uniformly harsh and repetitive, with indecipherable vocals buried under layers of noisy guitar riffs and metronomic drumming. Some of the records featured covers of Suicide, The Pop Group and Can as bonus tracks.
