Urban Knights

Urban Knights is urban, R&B, smooth jazz band. The Urban Knights is an all-star smooth jazz band which features one of jazz greats, pianist Ramsey Lewis. Their first self-titled debut album in 1995 included prominent musicians Grover Washington Jr., Omar Hakim, Victor Bailey and the Emotions to name a few. Other great musicians have collaborated throughout the years with the Urban Knights such as Maurice White (Earth, Wind & Fire), Gerald Albright, Najee, Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown, Dave Koz, Fareed Haque, and Earl Klugh.

Menahan Street Band

The Menahan Street Band is a collaboration of ten musicians from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings (Dave Guy, Homer Steinweiss, Fernando Velez, Bosco Mann), El Michels Affair (Leon Michels, Toby Pazner), Antibalas (Nick Movshon, Aaron Johnson) and The Budos Band (Mike Deller, Daniel Fodder), brought together by musician/producer Thomas Brenneck (Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Budos Band, Amy Winehouse).

Tarsha Jones, better known as Miss Jones, is a former R&B artist and radio personality. Miss Jones is currently the host of Jonesy In the Morning, a morning show that airs nationally on MissJonesRadio.Net. After previously working for Hot 97 and until 2008 and WUSL Power 99Fm and until 2011, Jonesy In the Morning is produced by Miss Jones. Jones met rapper Doug E. Fresh, who admired her vocal skills and invited her to his Get Fresh Crew tour.

Sophie Delila

Born a musical child in hype Paris and committed to be a bohemian since then, Sophie followed a classic path until high school grad, to the exception that music was part of her everyday routine. She started piano at early age, and at around 12, started using her dad's home studio everyday, writing songs, programming beats and recording music. She started to record her own vocals at around 15. Although she'd planned to study sound engineering in Paris, she left to Boston (MA) to study at Berklee College of Music, encouraged by being granted a scholarship.

Born in 1972 in Pottstown, PA, Julie McKnight is a daughter of a Seventh-Day Adventist Minister. Julie's musical influences begins with her mother Saundra Brooks, who performed at the age of 19 at the Apollo Theatre in New York City after being coerced by her father, Norris Turney, a multi-reed player and member of Duke Ellington's Orchestra. Aretha Franklin may have won that night but Saundra Brooks brought the house down with her rendition of "What A Wonderful World." As the old adage says, "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree."
