Murphy's Lore

This is the story of the little rock and roll combo that could. You might be familiar with the work of Courtney Murphy, the intrepid piano player and singer who appeared on Idol in between other engagements and did very nicely for himself, third in fact. You might have even heard of his brother Chris Murphy, also using the Australian Idol method of getting noticed by a wider audience for his own evil purposes.

The Peppermint Apes

The Peppermint Apes started out in August 2008 as Ryan Stanton put together an acoustic set of songs as support for the fantastic Marc Bolan Tribute TooREX, at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon. Ryan, asked a few of his close friends to help him put the show together. They had two weeks notice to rehearse up a set for the gig. Following the positive response they received on the back of the show, the next logical step was to go the next chapter and officially form the band.

Arthur Walwin

Hailing from the South East of London; Arthur Walwin has been building a name for himself with his soulful, heartfelt ballads. Taking on the role of artist and producer on all of his releases and often incorporating many of his influences into his music. Arthur’s songs are reminiscent of early Mayday Parade and some of the slower songs by artists like You Me At Six and Paramore. The EP is a departure from his band (Paige), however there are still shades of piano-lead American Pop Punk/Rock in his songs.
