Horse Thief is a psychedelic folk rock band based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, featuring Cameron Neal on vocals and guitar, Preston Greer on drums, Cody Fowler on bass, and Danny Rose on keys Horse Thief's debut LP Grow Deep, Grow Wild showcases the band's raw vocals, hollow guitar swells, colossal bass, and mountainous drums. The Effects are a rockin' garage band from Oologah, Oklahoma, right outside of Tulsa. The original band members were Joel King, Dalton McNaughton, and Crockett Cartwright, but Crockett moved and they had to undergo a lineup change. The band now consists of Joel, Dalton, Jeff and Chase. Recently, the band signed a promotional deal while out in Los Angeles recording a better demo to shop around.
Stardeath and White Dwarfs was born in late 2004 in Oklahoma City, and released its debut EP in the spring of 2005. Members Dennis Coyne, Casey Joseph, Matt Duckworth, and Philip Rice create their own brand of genre bending sound that might occur if King Crimson and Coldplay got stoned and had sex with each other. They are currently in the studio working on their first full length record with Trent Bell of Chainsaw Kittens fame. Audra tried College outside of Nashville, TN for a year. However, after realizing she spent little time in class and, instead, wrote songs all day, Audra Mae decided to move to Los Angeles. Two years after arriving in LA, and playing live shows, Audra Mae earned a deal with Warner Chappell Publishing.
There are three bands with this name. 1. The Separation formed in 2004 and are based in Bromley, UK. They play a furious marriage of post-hardcore riffage to pop-laden hooks, and have been compared to Rise Against and Billy Talent by national magazine Rocksound.
