Hank Green (May 5, 1980) is one of the two founders of the video blog project Brotherhood 2.0 that inspired the community of cool nerds known as Nerdfighters. Hank wrote many of his songs for his Brotherhood 2.0 videos. He and Alan Lastufka co-own DFTBA Records, a label that signs successful YouTube-based musicians. Listening to one of his albums is like watching a bunch of rats on speed eat their way through a wall of fairy floss, or riding on the back of a killer whale 2,000 feet below the surface. The only thing surpassing his recordings in sheer energy levels are his live performances, in which he walks about the entire venue interacting with the audience, when he's not rolling around on the floor or dancing like a madman.
Printed Circuit is a pseudonym of Claire Broadley, a musician from Leeds, UK. She began making music as a solo artist in June 1999, aged 19. During the next five years, she released records on labels like Tigerbeat6, Elefant, 555 and her own label, Catmobile. Her influences are continually taken from diverse sources, most obviously from the Acorn Electron computer games of her youth, but the only real constant is her own ability to tessellate simple melodies into far more complex compositions. Harry and the Potters are an indie rock band formed in Norwood, Massachusetts, in 2002 by brothers Joe DeGeorge and Paul DeGeorge. The band was inspired by the J.K. Rowling book series Harry Potter and were the first of many similar artists making music about the fictional boy wizard. They have released three full-length studio albums, Harry and the Potters in 2003, Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock! in 2004 and Harry and the Potters and the Power of Love in 2006.
