Lonely Ghosts

Lonely Ghosts comes from Brighton, England, and is music made and recorded by Tom Denney (formerly of Help She Can't Swim). Live Lonely Ghosts is ever changing with a rotating band of friends stepping in to play songs in whatever ways they can at the time. At present the Lonely Ghosts live band features Jim Morrison (Nullifier / The Tumbledown Estate), Leesey Frances (ex-Help She Can't Swim), Laura Mardon (Transfere Project), Luke Heffson (Aquaplaining into Fallow Deer) & Russell Eke (My Device / La Fuzer / Tomm Hanx).

The Bronze Medalists

The Bronze Medalists are a group of 5 young men who reside in the NYC area. They are an up and coming freestyle rap/rock n' roll improvisation experiment that draws their influence from artists such as The Roots, Rage Against The Machine, and Faith +1. Look for them at local bars in Manhattan during the weekdays.

Curios

2008 BBC Jazz Awards Band of the Year. Curios were formed in 2006 by award-winning pianist and composer Tom Cawley. A piano trio, they play Cawley's original compositions. Their sound is influenced by romantic classical music as much as by jazz, and relies on a deep empathy between the players. As well as Cawley, the other members of the band are Sam Burgess (double bass) and Joshua Blackmore (drums).

The Ethical Debating Society

"The Ethical Debating Society" began as the psuedonym for Tegan, who began writing anti-love songs on her hooty piano, but quickly blossomed into a full band. With Lauren Darling accompanying Tegan on guitar and vocal duties, and Mr Chris Morris keeping time. The Ethical Debating Society now sound something like Sonic Youth covering Spice World on a found cassette tape.

The name Artifact is currently used by two bands and one jazz quartet, and an electronic musician: 1) Ken Vandermark - reeds

Thomas Lehn - analogue synthesizer
Paal Nilssen-Love - drums 2) Artifact is a industrial/goth metal band from the city of Stavanger on the west coast of Norway, formed in late 2002. After a rough start and a l series of line-up changes, the band settled on their line-up in late 2004 when vocalist Tor Arne Fassotte of Unpure and This Negative Karma joined the band.

Jazkamer

Since 1998 Norwegians John Hegre and Lasse Marhaug have been making sound together as Jazzkammer. Debut album "Timex" in 1999 have been followed by a string of releases on labels like Staalplaat, Abisko, Xerxes, Smalltown Supersound, Utech, Bottrop-Boy and OHM Records, as well as touring and playing shows around the world. Remixed by friends on the "Rolex" CD in 2001. Live collaboration CD with Merzbow later the same year. Have done music for theatre and dance performances. Visited and worked in Singapore during the SARS-crisis in spring 2003, but survived.
