There are three bands named Dissident.
1) Dissident from Russia.
2) Dissident from Australia.
3) Dissident from Bulgaria. 1) Dissident is the production name of Russian based Stanislav Sevostyanikhin. Residing in St.Petersburg at the Baltic sea shore, he spends most of his time slicing beats, sampling street sounds and creating trends in modern music culture. He is influenced by very different kinds of music that allowed him to produce such diverse and truly innovative tunes.

J Majik

J Majik (real name Jamie Spratling) hails from Northwood, England and has been a drum and bass DJ since his early teens in the early 1990s, releasing his first track as early as 1992(as DJ Dextrous ) on the Planet Earth record label. By 1994 he had changed his stage name to the current moniker (due to the fact that there was already another DJ Dextrous within the scene with a huge following recording with Suburban Base Records - http://www.discogs.

DJ Haze aka Tim Hazell is a Welsh producer, DJ and label boss based in Poznan, Poland. His DJ-ing career spans 10 years and has seen him play clubs such as Ministry of Sound and Pacha (London) as well as just about every club in Poland and a few major festivals. He has played for outfits such as Kinky Malinki and Housexy and played alongside many of the world's biggest names. As a producer, his first solo release, Pierogi EP, comes out this September on his own Pierogi Records label, and he has many other releases and remixes in the pipeline.

There are at least 4 artists named Sub 1. Sub is a drum and bass producer and DJ currently living in Innsbruck, Austria. He is also the founder of Syncopathic Recordings. His passion for music has always been the primary force in his life, starting as a bassplayer in various crossover bands, he later became addicted to broken beats. His productions are influenced by complex drum patterns, heavy subbass and deep atmospheric vibes, whereas his DJ-sets are more eclectic, embracing everything from atmospheric music, 'Good Looking' style and drumfunk up to jungle, amen-choppage and hardstep.

Funky Drummer Macc is a well known name in the drumfunk scene with mad drum programming skills. Various releases on Paradox's Outsider Recordings, Counter Intelligence, Exegene and forthcoming bits on Breakin', Mindrush Recordings and 13 Music witness the man's talents. Dub-One, otherwise known as Olly Harmer, is unleashing some serious breakbeat pressure for reputable imprints like Scientific Wax and Renegade Recordings. A steadfast ally of Breakage and Equinox, Dub-One has asserted himself as a credible force in the dubwize drumfunk community. "Cry of War" digs back a little deeper for that extra edge - delivering a nasty, caustic affair of timestretched amens, NWA samples and razor sharp reece basslines.
