Dickie Rock

Richard "Dickie" Rock was the frontman of the Miami Showband, three members of which were murdered in 1975. Before he was famous Dickie was an apprentice welder. Dickie was the subject of a well-known Irish catchphrase - "spit on me Dickie". The phrase took off in Belfast in the 60s and spread all over the country. Between 1963 and 1977 Dickie and the Miami Showband had eight top ten hits. Dickie Rock and the Miami were the First Irish Artists to Go straight in to The Number One Spot with "There's Always Me" in 1965

Picturehouse

Picturehouse are an internationally acclaimed band who have 3 platinum selling albums in Ireland and have toured Europe extensively. They are Dublin based and first came to real prominence via the Irish music scene in the late 90's with their independently released debut album 'Shinebox'. Bristling with great songs they soon found themselves receiving significant radio exposure and invites from a wide variety of big name acts to join them on tour. These acts included Marillion, Meat Loaf, The Corrs, Mel C, Texas, Runrig, Bon Jovi and The Divine Comedy.

Backwater

Changed name to Tai Pan, releasing "Slow Death" (1995), and then changed their name again to X-Ray, under which they released "Dehumanized" (1996).

Jape is the alter-ego of Redneck Manifesto member Richie Egan. Hailing from Crumlin, Dublin 12, he purveys an electronica-heavy music tinged with 'stoner folk'. Jape's most renowned song 'Floating' has been covered by The Raconteurs and The Mighty Stef, to name a few. His debut album 'Cosmosphere' was released in 2003 (Volta Records), followed by 2004's 'The Monkeys In The Zoo Have More Fun Than Me' (Trust Me I'm A Thief).
