Burning Hearts

Le Futur Pompiste, which released one marvelous album in 2004, Your Stories and Your Thoughts, before the vagaries of adult life scattered them far and wide; and Cats On Fire, whose debut long-player, 2007's The Province Complains, captivated all who were lucky enough to hear it (among them the writers at superlative U.K. magazine The Word). It was inevitable that this pair of bands, whose music shares a poise and sophistication rarely heard anywhere, never mind within the modest environs of Finland, would find each other.

Wampire

In 2007, longtime best friends Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps moved to Portland, Oregon and decided to start a band. With all the buoyancy and idealism of youth (being fresh out of high school at the time), and stimulated by the massive amount of creative output surrounding them in their new city, they sketched out a vision for a massive friend band - the possibility of getting every single one of their buds on stage and creating a monumental live show. Yet both boys have discerning taste, having backgrounds in music theory from a tender age, and questioned the logistics of a chaotic set-up.

Itchy Poopzkid

ITCHY POOPZKID – okay, the story of the three chords & the dumb name of the band is well known by this time. Those who are still reducing ITCHY POOPZKID to the largely discussed points are, at least concerning the giving of the name, in good company with the band itself. They also think the name of the band is bullshit, but sometimes you have to be consistent ... For more talking about: Driving bus & each night in another club, hitting the strings. Those who are familiar with their boring home town (Eislingen an der Fils) underenthusiasm, whereever they are & at any time.

Pustki

Pustki is Polish band formed in 1999, in a small town, Ostrówek, near Warsaw. Their discography includes five albums: "Studio Pustki" (Antena Krzyku, April 2001), "8 Ohm" (Polskie Radio, April 2004), "Do Mi No" (Polskie Radio, March 2006), "Koniec kryzysu" (Agora, 2008) and "Kalambury" (Agora, 2009). Journalists have always problems with describing the music of Pustki with one term. For those who read the critics of "Studio Pustki" (LP, Antena Krzyku, 2001) the mysterious inventions like: proto-rock, impro-pre-punk-rock, are, if nothing else, meaningless.
