The Blue Velvets are a UK based two piece created in June 2009 by Thomas Hayes and Chloe Deeprose. Drawing influences from everything and everyone, they have created their own unique brand of psychedelic rock. Creedence Clearwater Revival were also originally called 'The Blue Velvets'.

Beck's music is known for its pop-junk culture collage of musical styles, ironic lyrics, samples, drum machines, live instrumentation and heady sound effects. Beck was born in Los Angeles, California, to David Campbell (a musician and son of a Presbyterian minister) and Bibbe Hansen (a former dancer for The Velvet Underground, founding member of the satirical band Black Fag, and visual artist).

Shawn Colvin (born January 10, 1956 in Vermillion, South Dakota) is an American musician. Best known for her hit single "Sunny Came Home" from the album "A Few Small Repairs". Colvin's formative years were spent in the town of Carbondale, Illinois, where she attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She learned to play guitar at the age of 10. Her first public concert was at age 15 at the University of Illinois campus. Colvin cites Joni Mitchell as a primary influence on her music, and her initial performances closely mirrored Mitchell's inflections and guitar tunings.
Dan Tyminski (b. June 20, 1967) is a bluegrass composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist. He is a member of the band Alison Krauss and Union Station and has released a solo album entitled Carry Me Across the Mountain (2000) on the Doobie Shea Records label. He is likely best known for the song "Man of Constant Sorrow," which was featured in the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? and won the 2001 CMA award for best single as well as a Grammy Award for best Country Collaboration with Vocals (along with Harley Allen and Pat Enright, filling out the vocals for the movie's Soggy Bottom Boys).

1. John Anderson (born December 13, 1954 in Apopka, Florida) is a country singer and musician. He scored hits in the early 1980s with songs such as "Swingin'," "Your Lyin' Blue Eyes," "Black Sheep" and the Billy Joe Shaver-composed "I'm Just an Old Chunk of Coal." His career hit a dry spell for several years until 1991, when his single "Straight Tequila Night" came out. Subsequent hits included "Money In The Bank" and "Seminole Wind." The latter would become Florida's unofficial state anthem. Anderson makes his home in Smithville, Tennessee, approximately 50 miles southeast of Nashville.
