Rhyme Asylum

Rhyme Asylum are a Hip-Hop group hailing from London, United Kingdom comprising of music artists: Possessed, Psiklone & Skirmish. ‘RA’ are focused on bringing back classic “boom bap” Hip-Hop, accompanied by thought provoking, vivid lyricism. Originating from the infamous Deal Real open mic sessions between 2004 and 2005 (but initially formed by Possessed and Skirmish in 2002), Rhyme Asylum’s music rippled through the Hip-Hop community; both in their native country and internationally with equal distinction.

Sub Pop Sunday

Sub Pop Sunday are the vehicle for a remarkable singer songwriter, Richard Judge. Last year the band were crowned winners of XFM Unsigned and more recently found themselves performing live on the XFM Breakfst Show with Alex Zane after a stunning show supporting The Kooks and Jarvis Cocker. Sub Pop Sunday were also featured in the Final 5 of MTV2 campaign 'Get Seen, Get Heard' receiving massive exposure on MTV, MTV2 and TMF. The band are influenced by the likes of The Bealtes, Led Zeppellin, Oasis but comparisons are meaningless as this is Sub Pop Sunday.

Michaela

There are at least three artists who have released music under the name Michaela: 1) English TV presenter Michaela Strachan (born 7 April 1966 in Ewell, Surrey) had a brief career as a recording artist, releasing two UK-charting singles under the name "Michaela". Her debut single, a cover of Edwin Starr's "-H-A-P-P-Y- Radio", was released in 1989, and her follow-up single, "Take Good Care of My Heart", was released in 1990.

The Holloways

The Holloways (formed in 2004) are an indie rock band from London, UK. The band consists of Alfie Jackson and Bryn Fowler. In February 2009 it was announced that Dave Danger and Rob Skipper had departed the band to pursue other directions and projects. Alfie and Bryn are currently looking for new members and hope to release a new album in the summer of 2009. They released Generator and Happiness and Penniless on their own label, Sensible Records, before signing a record deal with TVT.

Brian Auger's Oblivion Express

In 1965 Auger formed the group Steampacket along with Long John Baldry, Julie Driscoll and Rod Stewart. With Driscoll and the band Trinity he went on to produce several hit singles, notably a cover of Bob Dylan's This Wheel's on Fire. Dave Holmes

David Holmes (born February 14, 1969) is a Northern Irish DJ, musician and composer.
The youngest of 10 children, Holmes began DJing in the pubs of his native Belfast from the age of 15. His first hit was the song "DeNiro", with Ashley Beedle, in 1992. In the early to mid 1990s he ran two highly acclaimed and successful club nights in the Belfast Art College known as Sugar Sweet and Shake Yer Brain. Famously, the dance group Orbital wrote the track "Belfast", released on their debut album Orbital, after playing at Sugar Sweet.

These New Puritans

These New Puritans (formed in 2006) are a four-piece band from Southend-on-Sea, United Kingdom, consisting of Jack Barnett (vocals, guitar, computer, sound), his twin brother George Barnett (drums, tapes, percussion), Tomas Hein (bass guitar, sampler, backing vocals, percussion) and Sophie Sleigh-Johnson (synthesizers). They mix indie with samplers and electronic experimental sounds. These New Puritans were commissioned by Hedi Slimane to compose the soundtrack for the 2007 Dior Homme show. The band's debut album "Beat Pyramid" was released in the UK in January 2008.
