Creature With the Atom Brain

Creature with the Atom Brain is a Belgian alternative rock band consisting of Millionaire keyboardist Aldo Struyf (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Dave Schroyen (Drums), Jan Wygers (Bass) and Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen (Guitar). The band have been said to make "fuzzy stripped-back rock’n'roll noise with a generous helping of weird." The band's name is taken from the Roky Erickson & the Aliens song (which in turn was taken from the 1955 film of the same name), with Struyf citing Erickson's former band the 13th Floor Elevators and the man himself as influencing Creature with the Atom Brain's sound.

Thee Oh Sees

John Dwyer (of Coachwhips, Pink and Brown, Landed, Yikes, Burmese, The Hospitals, Sword & Sandals, Superpit, The Drums, The Trawgs, Zeigenbock Kopf and Dig That Body Up It's Alive!) is in Thee Oh Sees and he seems to be making this band the most serious project. He's done everything from noise to death metal to punk and now this.
Thee Oh Sees are no doubt the lightest of his excursions, but it also shows what may be his very essence. It's obvious that he loves music and wants to experience it all, touch every aspect, and give it all a go.

Pegasus Bridge

Having tirelessly worked on their craft since inception just over twelve months ago, (and rapidly becoming one of the buzz bands of 2009 in the process), legendary producer John Mitchell (Funeral For A Friend / Kids In Glass Houses / Enter Shikari / You Me At Six) expressed an interest in working with the band and has now captured the energetic and upbeat sound of Pegasus Bridge perfectly. The melodies are simple and beautiful; the songs rock while remaining delicate and intricate. They are fresh-sounding and timeless; and most importantly, all come packed with hooks that could land a shark.
