The Intelligence

The Intelligence is a lo-fi indie post punk rock band from Seattle, founded by Lars Finberg, drummer of the A-Frames. Finberg played since the late '90s in other bands with vocalist/guitarist Erin Sullivan, and bassist Min Yee: the Dipers, and the Un-Natural Helpers. A Frames and the Intelligence started in 1999. Both acts released singles on Dragnet Records, the indie label Finberg runs with A Frames members Erin Sullivan and Min Yee.

The Apples in Stereo

The Apples in Stereo is an indie pop band, from Denver, Colorado, co-originators of the innovative Elephant 6 Collective, a group of bands that initially included Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control but also includes Elf Power, The Minders and Beulah. The Apples in Stereo currently consist of Eric Allen (bass), John Hill (rhythm guitar), John Ferguson, Bill Doss and their new drummer as of 2006, John Dufilho, while lead singer/guitarist Robert Schneider writes the most of the band's music and lyrics. Their debut release was 1995's Fun Trick Noisemaker (with Jim McIntyre on bass).

We Aeronauts

In mid-August last year, the eight people that make up We Aeronauts relocated to France for a holiday. They took a car-full of instruments with them too. When they came back they had a band. They wrote a load of songs about the area...from the endless bike-rides they took around the valley they were in, to the days spent in the sun down at the nearby lake, to the foothills of the Alps on the horizon.

Toro y Moi

Toro Y Moi is the stage name used by recording artist Chazwick Bundick. His music has taken on many forms since he began recording, but he is now identified with the chillwave movement of summer 2009. Bundick was born on 7 November 1986, in Columbia, South Carolina, where he formed well-known Columbia indie rock band The Heist and The Accomplice with three schoolmates. Bundick graduated from the University of South Carolina in spring of 2009 with a bachelor's degree in graphic design.

Bearhug

(1) bearhug is a brazilian experimental/lo-fi act formed in 2004. His first ep (Birds) was released in January, 2009. He hopes that other bands called "Bearhug" get together to form the Mystic Big Bear of Magic Mountain to combat the evil Dr. Zibuow. (2) Bearhug was formed in the winter of 2008 in Chandler, Arizona and consists of friends Jon Hubbell, Jeremy Lilly and Austin Scates. (3)Bearhug is an indie rock group that was formed in 2007 in Sydney, Australia under the name Skeletal Explosive.
