We like mixing live guitars and drums with loops and samples. We like big riffs... We like beats... We like blues... We like to play loud and mix it together... A 2-piece rock'n'roll band that sound like The White Stripes playing with LCD Soundsystem and Holy Fuck.

ELYSIAN is Didier Colsoul (vocals/guitar), David Lefevre (guitar), Maxim Willems (drums), Sven Beyrus (bass) and signed to a Belgian record company: Green L.F.Ant records. They recorded their first album 'From Here Till Now' with producer David Poltrock (Hooverphonic, Monza).
The first 2 singles 'True Signs' and 'These are the days' made it straight to national radio. Studio Brussels and Radio21 took up the songs in their daily play list.

In the Melbourne music scene, it seems musical fashions and trends change almost as often as the weather. However, unlike the completely erratic weather patterns, some things are true of all good artists. A solid work ethic is a must, though time and effort alone cannot buy the connection between a great singer and his audience. Like a rainbow in the storm; Best Before emerge amongst an increasingly heavy music scene to re-kindle the free spirited joy of a smooth melody, the delight of a cheeky bass line and the liberating honesty of a simple love song shared amongst friends and strangers.
