Heavyball

Heavyball are a hard rocking indie/ska band based in London. Formed in late 2011 when Nottingham brothers Matt and Habs Salisbury and school friend Johnny Iball, began to play together. The band's sound is impertinant indie with a cheeky nod to ska. Influences include The Kingsmen, Jimmy Cliff and Fleetwood Mac. Heavyball’s first EP, Small Town Hero, recorded by producer Dave Creffield (Embrace, James), was released in June 2012 and recieved BBC airplay across the country.

1. Gates is an ambient/indie rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. The band includes former members of Lydia and Bears & Bright Lights. Their debut EP, The Sun Will Rise and Lead Me Home, was released on January 25th, 2011. 2. Gates (Bryan W Bray) - Experimental/dark ambient/drone project from Canada.

Archivist

There are two bands named Archivist. One [1] from Montreal (long live Marie-Joseph Angélique) and one [2] from Belgium (long live King Leopold III). (1) It has become a common place to credit the deathly cold of Montreal’s lengthy winter season for the hot-chronology of creative outpour that has entered the global music scene from Canada’s tiny heart-shaped island. Archivist’s debut release Learning to Live on Poison, does not present an exception to this particular rule, though it will inevitably be accused of challenging a great many others.

Sons and Daughters

Glasgow's Sons and Daughters don't follow the indie pop formula made famous by their counterparts (Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura). Adele Bethel, David Gow, Scott Paterson, and Ailidh Lennon, who formed the group in 2001, compose a roughcast folk-rock sound similar to the likes of Smog and Cat Power. Prior to getting together, Bethel (guitar) and Gow (drums) toured and recorded with the Zephyrs and Arab Strap.

The Black Heart Procession

The Black Heart Procession (occasionally spelled The Blackheart Procession) is an indie rock band from San Diego, California. The band was formed in 1997 by Pall Jenkins (member of Three Mile Pilot, Mr. Tube And The Flying Objects and the short-lived Ugly Casanova) and Tobias Nathaniel (also of Three Mile Pilot). The group is often augmented by the contributions of Mario Rubalcaba, Jason Crane, Joe Plummer, Dimitri Dziensuwski Jimmy LaValle, and Matt Resovich.

Brandon Flowers

Brandon Richard Flowers (born June 21, 1981) is the vocalist and keyboardist in the American synth rock band The Killers. Flowers was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and later raised in Nephi, Utah. While listening to the radio in his car after his very first college class, Flowers heard the song "Changes" by David Bowie. He fell in love with the piece and realized he wanted to be part of the music industry. He is the youngest of six children, with four older sisters and one older brother. Marti is the brain child of songwriter and actor Andrea Bruschi. Their debut album 'Unmade Beds' is a 12 song affair. The songs were composed in Andrea's bedroom where he keeps his Fender Rhodes.
The album has been artistically produced by italian songwriter/producer Paolo Benvegnu' and Andrea Franchi for Swiss company Wildside Media and Italian Greenfog Records.
European music, New wave, 80's technopop, cabaret, musicals and torch songs artists are the main influences.

EVEN

Even are an Australian indie rock three-piece fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Ashley Naylor, with Matthew Cotter on drums and Wally Kempton (also known as Wally Meanie) on bass and backing vocals. Even formed in Melbourne, Australia in March 1994. History Naylor and Cotter played music together at high school and in indie band The Swarm, before being joined by Kempton on bass . Even played their first gig in 1994 at the Empress of India Hotel in Fitzroy, Victoria and after a number of EP's, the band released their first studio album, "Less is More" in 1996.
