Underdog

There are or were four bands named Underdog. One comes from Buenos Aires (Argentina), the other from NYC, the third one from Germany and the fourth one from Rome, Italy. 1º) Hardcore band from, NYC/BELMAR, United States. Chemistry is everything. Mixing different elements together can make something explosive happen or, on the other hand, nothing at all. The band Underdog was an example of such an experiment, with a lifespan shorter than expected, but with powerful after effects that still linger on.

Danny Cavanagh

Danny Cavanagh (born October 6, 1972) is a British guitarist and songwriter, one of the founding members of Anathema - a band that began in a death doom metal style, before changing to a more atmospheric rock-based sound. Danny also worked with Lid, Antimatter and Leafblade. In 2005, he released a Nick Drake tribute album, called "A Place to Be". He played several acoustic shows made of covers from Anathema or others artists alone, or as Danny & Vincent Cavanagh and Anneke van Giersbergen & Danny Cavanagh.

Boy And Bear

Boy & Bear was four separate bands until they decided to leave their respective collectives and represent one 'a-little-bit-better' band. After performing as Dave Hosking during 2008 the band decided to re-name the project and embrace a new direction and sound of 70's folk rock. Boy & Bear is a Sydney based band built on the collaboration of three front men of separate bands. The combination of three songwriters has resulted in songs that refuse to stay within the boundaries of one genre... Boy & Bear are launching their new single, Mexican Mavis at Spectrum on October 21st.

Soundgarden

Soundgarden is a Seattle rock band who helped to define the sound that came to be called grunge. Despite starting years earlier, and having a sound that more closely resembled Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin than their contemporaries, they are usually considered one of the "big four" of the '90s Seattle grunge bands, along with Alice in Chains, Nirvana and Pearl Jam. The band was formed in 1984 by Chris Cornell (vocals, and originally drums) and Hiro Yamamoto (bass), to be joined later by Kim Thayil (guitar) and Scott Sundquist (drums).

Parlotones

The Parlotones kicked off their professional career in 2003, rising to the forefront of South African music by 2006 when they signed a European license deal on the back of their debut single beautiful being used in a Fujifilm commercial. Since then, The Parlotones have become the biggest selling band in South Africa and have delivered over 200 shows in 2008 across SA, UK and Europe. Dexys Midnight Runners

Dexys Midnight Runners - the name consistently spelled without an apostrophe - were a British post-punk and northern soul band who achieved their major success in the early to mid 1980s. The word "Dexys" in this case, comes from a colloquialism of "dextroamphetamine" or "purple hearts," a type of amphetamine diet pill that was a popular "upper" drug with England's Northern Soul scene in the 1960s.

Eden James

Eden James' single, Never Setting Sun, stole the Number One spot from pop heavyweight Robbie Williams in the Greek Top 40. His debut album of the same name not only gained him chart success and critical acclaim, but also won him the 'BEST NEW TALENT' award at Australia’s Sunnie Awards. More recently, the band also won 'BEST INTERNATIONAL ARTIST' at the MusicOz Awards in Sydney Australia 2008. Now Eden James returns with Electric Charge, a digital release by the band’s own label EJE.
