Dr. Octagon

Dr. Octagon is one of Kool Keith's many alter egos. His initial release as Dr. Octagon was 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst, on which he collaborated with Dan the Automator Nakamura and DJ QBert. After the name was dropped in favour of Dr. Dooom, it was widely believed that it wouldn't be used again until the release of 2006's The Return of Dr. Octagon, which Keith maintains was changed and released without his consent.

Circuits

There is more than one artist named Circuits: 1. A hardcore band from Melbourne, Australia. 2.Brought together in the summer of 2006, Circuits are Ben, Nick, Nick Jnr and Simon. This London four piece’s frantic, twitching, spiky guitar pop looks to the new wave sound of the late 70s and combines it with a distinctly modern twist to create something special. Citing The Police, Elvis Costello and Paul Simon as their major influences, Circuits claim to bring new and different proposition in their music.

Seven Story Down

Seven Story Down are a young four piece from Kent who play an exciting brand of alternative pop. Their self-released debut single ‘Radio Song’ reached 23 in the UK Indie Charts in July of 2006, helped significantly by an extensive touring schedule and plays by Radio One DJs, Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq. The band has toured all over the UK and recently has begun to sell out shows back in their hometown of Tunbridge Wells, as well as London venues like the Barfly in Camden and The Fly on Oxford Street.

Kiki Pau

Kiki Pau is a lovable exception in today’s music scene. The band has been labeled an over-trendy indie group from Helsinki’s Punavuori, but Kiki Pau is in fact as organic as a rock group can be in today’s world. Influenced by 1980s and ‘90s alternative rock and 1960s and ‘70s classic pop, Kiki Pau gathered a wealth of positive attention from both critics and music bloggers two years ago with their ironically named debut "Let's Rock".

The Coral

The Coral are a British band formed in 1996 from Meols on the Wirral (near Liverpool) that play an unusual style of music mixing psychedelic pop/rock, old fashioned country, folk music and modern rock. Their music is often used in the soundtrack to TV adverts and programmes making their music well known even though the band itself is still outside of the mainstream. Although they have a fan base in the North American market, and a rather large following in their home country, they have yet to achieve a mainstream audience.
