Gift Of Gab (Tim Parker) and Chief Xcel (Xavier Mosley) met at John F. Kennedy High School in 1987 in Sacramento, California and formed the group in the early 1990s. They released their first recording, "Swan Lake", on . The Solesides Crew consisted of the duo, as well as other friends of theirs they had met at University of California - Davis, including DJ Shadow, Lyrics Born and Lateef The Truth Speaker. The single was an underground hit, but label trouble prevented the duo from immediately capitalizing on their fame.

Jordan Delap

Jordan Delap is a singer-songwriter from Jersey Channel Island, now based in Basingstoke, England. When playing live he will most likely be playing acoustic guitar and singing. One way to describe his music is acoustic folk punk with ska/reggae influences.
He started off writing songs for the band Clockwork Sodomy and in 2009 started playing acoustic guitar by himself and busking to earn a bit of cash, this developed into him writing acoustic songs and playing them regularly at local gigs. He still busks and is always looking for gigs to play at.

Pepper

Pepper is a reggae, ska band formed in 1996 originally from Kona-Kailua, Hawaii, United States recently having moved to Southern California. They play a mix of reggae, dub, ska, and punk and are best known for their 2006 single "No Control" which was a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. Pepper's relocation was inspired by Volcom Entertainment's excitement and interest in producing and distributing the band's music.

Hue & Cry

Hue & Cry are coatbridge brothers Patrick (vocals) and Greg (instruments) Kane, who have been recording and performing since the mid-to-late 1980s to the present day. The Kanes became known for both their creative jazz-pop style records and Patrick's distinctive, soulful voice (drawing strong similarities to Level 42 in both respects) - despite not achieving overwhelming commercial success, they are well respected by a large fanbase, and have recorded and released albums regularly (some of them failing to chart in the UK).
