Andy Richards signed to DFM in April 2006. His debut download release Rhymes Of Reason, shot to number one in the label's own download chart in June, where it stayed there for over six months. Razorwire

In March 2003, Razorwire released their debut album LEAGUE OF THE GODLESS which received excellent reviews all over the world. A seemingly never-ending tour followed which took them all over the UK from Aberdeen to Penzance, and everywhere in between. They also played a handful of dates in Germany, Belgium and Holland. The bands music is a diverse mix of traditional metal, rap, punk and hardcore with loads of energy.

The Plenaries

The Plenaries formed in Birmingham in April 2008 with the original line-up of Tim Howells (vocals, guitar), Aimee Scriven (bass, vocals) and Adam Davie (drums). They made their live debut in August 2008 headlining the Bar Academy, Birmingham. In September 2008 they released their debut mini album ‘Come On In’ via iTunes. Late September 2008 saw the arrival of Sonya Isaac (keyboards, vocals). In October 2008 the band went into Rich Bitch Studios, Birmingham to record debut single 'A Wonderful Thing'.

The Bobcats

The Bobcats were formed in Birmingham in 1965
Signed to Pye Records 1967
Band members were David Cowley Lead guitar Vocals, Paul Willington Rhythm guitar vocals, Gary Hedges Bass/Lead Vocal and Les Fortnam on Drums Three of the Band members were pupils at Alderlea School in the shard end district of Birmingham Also attending the same school but older than the boys was Jeff Lynne of ELO fame, Les Fortnam was a pupil at Alston School Bordesley Green Birmingham.

Chicken Shack

Chicken Shack are a British blues band, founded in the 1965 by Stan Webb (guitar and vocals), Andy Silvester (bass guitar), and Alan Morley (drums), who were later joined by Christine Perfect (vocals and keyboards) in 1968. Front man and guitarist Stan Webb was born in London in 1946. The group began their blues playing on the Blue Horizon label in a similar style to the early Fleetwood Mac. Singer Christine Perfect left after marrying John McVie (bassist) with Fleetwood Mac. Christine later joined Fleetwood Mac in their second reincarnation.

Cueball 8

Cueball 8 are an eight piece Ska band from Stratford-Upon-Avon, born from a love of punk rock, reggae and ska music. Taking influence from artists such as Manu Chao, The Toyes and Sublime to name but a few, the band display a mosaic of different genres. Cueball 8 have supported The Beat, Adequate 7, Sonic Boom 6, Bad Manners and Neville Staple of the Specials, as well as performing a host of headline shows around the UK.

Peter Donohoe

Peter Donohoe CBE born in Manchester, 18 June 1953 is the premier English pianist of his generation. He started his musical career as a percussionist with the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and he still occasionally performs with Percussion. He was awarded joint-second prize in the 1982 International Tchaikovsky Competition with Vladimir Ovchinnikov (no first prize was awarded that year).
