The Movielife

The Movielife was a pop-punk band from Baldwin, New York (Long Island). Formed in 1997, the band put out its first full-length, It's Go Time, in 1999 on Fadeaway Records. By this point, the classic lineup of Vinnie Caruana (vocals), Brandon Reilly (guitar), Alex Amiruddin (guitar), Phil Navetta (bass) and Evan Baken (drums) had coalesced. The band built up a strong local following on the strength the album and their live show, and soon jumped to Revelation Records, releasing This Time Next Year in 2000.

The Steal

The coming together of four friends steeped in punk-rock history. Drawing on influences from Kid Dynamite, Bouncing Souls, Descendents and Good Clean Fun; they play urgent, catchy, fast, humerous, socially conscious and informative melodic hardcore, that is the most exciting punk rock we've heard in a very long time. A tour and split 10" is coming with similarly exciting Californian 6-piece Set Your Goals through June. Look out for a BBC Radio 1 Lock Up Session in the coming months and for their incredible energetic and fun live shows.

Ambitions

Ambitions began in 2005 as a way for Jay and Jeff Aust and John Ross to challenge the boundaries that separate hardcore and punk. Taking a range of diverse influences, not the least of which include Quicksand, Turning Point, Face To Face, and Avail, Ambitions released a demo and began to play shows all along the east coast. In September of 2006, Ambitions released their EP "Question" on Think Fast! which garnered rave reviews and caught the attention of Bridge Nine. They went on to release their debut LP Stranger on November 6, 2007.
