One from Germany/Canada, one from New Zealand, one from Finland and one from Denmark. 1) Randy Burgess (bass) Mark Holden (saxophone, vocals) David Forbes (lead vocals) Andrew Johns (keyboards) Randy Gould (guitar) Randall Stoll (drums) Tom Christianson (bass; replaced Burgess) Holden had been working in a recording studio in Frankfurt, Germany and an offer to open a new, multi-million dollar recording studio in Calgary gave him reason to return to Canada.

Ducks Deluxe

If the old scientific adage is true -- that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction -- then British pub rockers Ducks Deluxe were purely and simply a reaction. With the mid-'70s English pop scene dominated by glitter/glam rockers like Gary Glitter and Sweet or blustery, chops-heavy art rockers like Yes, Jethro Tull, and Genesis, then Ducks Deluxe represented none of the above. One of the first pub rock bands, the Ducks played basic American-style blues and boogie with remarkable panache and thorough disregard for the whims of the zeitgeist.

A former bassist of Alice Cooper's band during the mid eighties, Kip Winger went on to form Winger together with guitarist Reb Beach, keyboard/guitarist Paul Taylor and drummer Rod Morgenstein (formerly of Dixie Dregs).
