The Ghouls

There are five artists by the name of The Ghouls. During the 1960's The Ghouls were the music of writer and producer Gary Usher, best known for his work with the Beach Boys. The Ghouls combined the 60's trends for Hot Rods and Monster movies. "Dracula's Deuce" was released in 1964 featuring Rick Burns, Chuck Girard, Joe Kelly and Richard Podolor. The Ghouls are also a street punk band no longer releasing music in Philadelphia PA. Members have gone on to form Hate and War. http://www.myspace.com/hateandwar

Niladri Kumar

Niladri Kumar is the son and disciple of Sitar Maestro Pandit Kartick Kumar, who is the senior most disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar. Niladri Kumar started learning when he was four and gave his first performance at the age of six at the Aurobindo ashram in Pondicherry. Niladri is known for playing an electric 5-string sitar and utilizing distortions and loops in his performances. He calls his sitar a zitar and is in the process of patenting its design.

Ray Harris

Ray Harris was born on September 7th 1927. He formed a band with Wayne Powers and wrote the songs "Come On, Little Mama" and "Greenback Dollar, Watch and Chain". He eventually recorded these at Sun Records with Sam Phillips.
