Angry Vs The Bear

Angry Vs The Bear is frantic. It’s noisy. It’s fizzy electro pop punk. Despite having only been together 6 months The Bears have already been accepted to showcase at the world famous SXSW festival in Texas in March , have seen their track 'I Sing, We Sing' named best unsigned single of 2008 on the BBC Essex Introducing show (which is closely linked to Radio 1) and have been featured on the January 'Best of Myspace' Podcast.

Cocktail Slippers

This foxy female fivesome from Oslo, Norway, is the perfect mixture of sweet and sour, combining girl-group harmonies and sass with gritty rock 'n' roll fervor to produce a high-octane hybrid that should have all the hepcats dancing. The ladies, whose CD happens to be one of the first releases from Steven Van Zandt's new label, comprise more than just an all-female version of early, hard-rocking Blondie. This is a non-standard garage-hard rock-surf-pop band that manages to mix up the formula to keep things fresh.

Motel Motel

Motel Motel is a history of rock youth in a blender. They croon in the spirit of an old country ballad, but one careening through the tunnels and avenues of their home base, New York City. Formed there in the fall of 2006, they honed their music in garages, kitchens, and basements until the February of the next year found them playing their first shows across the city and surrounding states. Received with open arms both by claustrophobic bars in the Lower East Side and the skyline-painted barns of Richmond VA, they find peace in their dualities.
