Jacco Gardner

Jacco Gardner is a neo-psych/baroque pop multi instrumentalist from The Netherlands. He creates a unique sound by combining the sounds of harpsichord, strings, flutes and other classical instruments with raw psychedelic effects. His music is influenced by artists like Billy Nicholls, Duncan Browne, The Zombies, The Beach Boys, Curt Boettcher, Pink Floyd, Bo Grumpus. Christophe Rousset

Christophe Rousset (born 1961) is a French harpsichordist and conductor, specializing in the performance of baroque music on period instruments. Born in Avignon, Rousset grew up in Aix-en-Provence and developed an interest in the harpsichord during his early teens. His studied at the Schola Cantorum in Paris under Huguette Dreyfus and from 1980 to 1983 he attended the Royal Conservatory at the Hague under Bob van Asperen.

Georg Philipp Telemann

Georg Philipp Telemann (14th March 1681–25th June 1767) was a German Baroque composer, born in Magdeburg. Self-taught in music, he studied law at the University of Leipzig. The most prolific composer of his era, he was a contemporary of Johann Sebastian Bach and a life-long friend of Georg Friedrich Händel. While in the present day Bach is generally thought of as the greater composer, Telemann was more widely renowned for his musical abilities during his lifetime.

Janine Johnson

Known for the intricate artwork with which she adorns world-class harpsichords, the multitalented Janine Johnson is also a gifted harpsichordist and pianist in her own right. Her style of playing is elegant yet extremely agile, and she has performed extensively in the Bay Area and beyond. Ms. Johnson began her musical studies on the modern piano and started playing the harpsichord as a teenager. She majored piano performance and two dimensional art at California State University, Northridge and began building and decorating harpsichords in earnest at this time.

Trevor Pinnock

Trevor David Pinnock CBE (born December 16, 1946) is an English conductor and harpsichordist. He is best known for directing period-performance orchestra The English Concert from the harpsichord for over 30 years in baroque and early classical music. Trevor Pinnock was born in Canterbury. He became a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral when he was 7, attending the Cathedral Choir School and later Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys.

Christopher Hogwood

Christopher Jarvis Haley Hogwood (born 10 September 1941) is a well-known British conductor, harpsichordist, writer and scholar. Hogwood was born in Nottingham, and studied music and classical literature at Pembroke College, Cambridge. He went on to study performance and conducting under Raymond Leppard and Thurston Dart; and later with Rafael Puyana and Gustav Leonhardt. A British Council scholarship enabled him to study in Prague for a year.

Carole Cerasi

After an unusual upbringing - born in Sweden of Sephardi/Turkish origins, with French as her first language - Carole Cerasi has been based in London since 1982. Her playing, like her background, resists being easily placed in any category. She has long been recognised as having a special affinity with the French clavecinistes, while her repertoire extends from the English virginalists through all the national styles to the early sonatas of Haydn and Beethoven, which she performs on fortepiano.
