DJ Spooky

DJ Spooky, That Subliminal Kid (born Paul Miller, 1970), is a Washington DC-born illbient and trip-hop musician, turntablist and producer. He borrowed his stage name from a character in a William S. Burroughs novel. Growing up in DC, Spooky became interested in punk and go-go music, and attended Bowdoin College in Maine, earning degrees in French literature and philosophy. He began writing science fiction and formed a collective called Soundlab with several other artists.

They released Goodwill (as The Bandits) in 2009 and The NRK Compilation on April 17th, 2010. Both are available for free download. NRK was started by Pyramid Vritra, KC 2.0, Pyramid Murdock, and Gloomy Pyramid while they were in 8th grade. Members such as Jay Cue, Andre McCloud, Mr. Northstar, Tyler Major, LuiDiamonds, and Pyramid Mables were added later on when they were all in High School.

Hiperkarma is a band formed in Budapest, Hungary in 1999. The project was started by founding member Bérczesi Róbert who previously was member of the band Blabla. After Blabla split up, Bérczesi went on to create the first post-Blabla album mostly alone this time under the name Hiperkarma. After some minor changes in lineup, the lineup consists of Bérczesi Róbert on guitar and providing vocals; Frenk (Torma Gábor) on drums and providing backing vocals; Laca (Varga László) on bass guitar; FX (Bacsa Gyula) on keyboard; and Stevenson (Kis Tibor) on guitar.

He began his music career as a member of the Likwit Crew, a loose collective of West Coast rappers including King Tee, Defari, and Tha Alkaholiks. He released his solo debut album 'At The Speed Of Life' in 1996 and has since released 5 more albums, his latest being Full Circle, released in 2006. She was born to Guyanese immigrant parents (mixed with black, Indian, and Portuguese ethnicities) and grew up in the inner city of Toronto. Living in a music filled household, Fiona says she always knew music was her passion.
