Rubylux

The name came from a psychic lady living next door to Adam, insisting that the word 'Ruby' would be the lucky omen to break the band. Lots of her predictions came true and wiith the four members intact, the pieces of the jigsaw fell into place.
After 2 months of songwriting and rehearsing, the band decided to do things differently – realising they didn’t quite fit the Indie buzz – the band decided to take their commercial music straight to the people – The summer ‘07 Rubylux took to the streets… They were sending over 300 people home with a CD after each impromptu street performance...

Matt Simons

Through a fusion of piano Pop-Rock and Jazz, 24 year-old Singer/Songwriter Matt Simons blends his wealth of influences from Ben Folds and Gavin Degraw to Stevie Wonder and John Coltrane, into an upbeat, eclectic and fresh sound all his own. After graduating Magna Cum Laude as the President's Award Recipient in Music from the prestigious SUNY-Purchase Conservatory with a degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance, he decided musical academia was not the right path for him. Matt instead sought to follow his affection for songwriting and hasn't looked back.

He is a son of Africa. The first breath he took was of African air. The first steps he took were on African soil and the first words he sang Africa heard. Although he now resides in London, his heart is where his home is. He is Roland Albertson, longing and ambitious, singer and songwriter, the voice behind ‘There is no place like home’. Roland was born in South Africa in 1981 and hung out in Jo’ burg for most of his youth, going to school and playing sport like most good ‘Saffa’ lads.

Susan is a gifted vocalist, with an extensive range, a deep sultry sound. Susan plays piano and guitar. This multi-talented musician plays on both coasts to a variety of audiences.

Joe Chapman is a multi instrumentalist musician, singer, songwriter, producer and broadcaster from Oxford, England. He is the vocalist and bass guitarist with psych drone band The Neon Violets and runs Yurt Sessions which features bands, poetry, discussion and interviews broadcast live online from a Mongolian yurt. Joe is currently recording a solo album and looking for new musicians to join The Neon Violets.

Robb Johnson and the Irregulars

Robb Johnson and The Irregulars, is a musical collective of friends, fronted by the acclaimed acoustic, singer-songwriter Robb Johnson from London, United Kingdom, known for his mix of Socio-political satire and wit. The band started life in 2006, and has since released 3 albums on the Irregular Records label. The Irregulars are: John Forrester on Bass, Paul Midgley on Percussion, Saskia Tomkins on Violin, and Roger Watson on the Melodeon.

Donso

Donso means hunter in Bambara, a Mande language spoken in West Africa. It's also the self-titled debut album, out September 2010 on Comet Records, that could be one of the best records of the year. Combining hard hitting broken beats, laid down by French producer Krazy Baldhead, with Bambara vocals, sung by Malian vocalist Gedeon Papa Diarra, Donso creates a modern interpretation of Mande hunters' music, a tradition that goes back hundreds of years.
