CeCe Rogers, also known as Ce Ce Rogers (born Kenneth Jesse Rogers III on April 30, 1969) is an American singer, musician, and producer from Cleveland, Ohio. Nicknamed by James Brown, CeCe Rogers is one of the most successful male vocalists in house music. In 1987 CeCe recorded the track "Someday" in collaboration with and written by Marshall Jefferson. To this day, the song ranks as one of the true greats of the genre. Contemporary classical music melts with house and techno Three young musicians have recently joined together for this exciting acoustic techno project. On the one hand Daniel Brandt and Jan Brauer, who as a duo named „Scott“ produce club music with a jazz attitude (EPs on My Best Friend, Fluid Ounce, THE GYM and more). On the other hand Paul Frick, who has studied classical and modern composition with Friedrich Goldmann at Universität der Künste Berlin. Besides experimental pieces for orchestral instruments he also releases house music (EPs on Kalk Pets, THE GYM, 30porumalinha and more).
There are three bands with the name Lowrider. 1) Emerging onto the Adelaide music scene in late 2003, the foursome met through the city's tight knit music community after playing in different bands. Brothers Paul and John Bartlett aka Papa John and Mr Cee, teamed with Scott Duncan aka Scotty D and Joe Braithwaite to form Lowrider. Their distinct sound has been developed organically drawing from very diverse influences including Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Roots, Mos Def and Erykah Badu.
Paul Gardner started djing back in 89' and made his name at the legendary 'CLUB 4 LIFE' parties @ The Gardening Club as a monthly resident throughout the early 90's Whilst being voted by judge jules as best newcomer to the house scene in dj mag in the summer of 92. During the mid nighties he was elevated to maximum status by becoming resident DJ for the ultra glamour party people PUSHCA which saw Paul play across Europe and beyond at some of the worlds most amazing clubs.
