Light Parades are a four piece outfit, primarily based in Kingston Upon Thames, West London, UK. Made up of Daniel Hopkinson, Stephen Hopkinson, Jakub Tucholski and Oliver Pearce. Formed in mid-2011, the ambitious quartet headed into Rockfield Studio in Wales only four weeks after forming, to start recording their debut album, due for release later this year. Their debut ep 'Sparkle' was released on 15th February 2012.
Quickbeam are named after a type of tree (the Rowan family, green-geeks), a tree that apparently has positive influence over the negative and is sacred to those who worship it (in mythological language anyway). It seems a fitting moniker for this duo, Monika and Drew, from Glasgow and Aberdeen. They have performed at Glasgow

With their latest single, recorded up on a mountain in Wales and mastered at Abbey Road, the band are pulling beard strings from Surrey to California. Mackley Drive are a five piece band from Essex. Their sound comes from a fusion of their influences. It's a sound that is both eclectic, and accessible. Known also to experiment with odd time signatures and complex chord structures, and with songs stuffed to the brim with pop hooks and melodies. Their lyrics deal with subjects such as isolation, religion, love, loss etc. These attributes combined helps to form a sound that is distinctly unique to them.
