Quadrophenia was a double album released by The Who on October 19, 1973 (see 1973 in music), one of the group's two full-scale rock operas (except in a conventional use of the word "opera" as Quadrophenia is mostly a monoglot work rather than a varied drama). The name is a modification of the unscientific notion of schizophrenia as a multiple personality disorder to reflect the four destinct personalities of Jimmy, the opera's protagonist.
Avenue Q is a musical conceived by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, who wrote the music and lyrics, and directed by Jason Moore. The book is by Jeff Whitty and is largely inspired by (and is in the style of) Sesame Street; most of the characters in the show are puppets (operated by actors onstage), the set depicts several tenements on a rundown street in an Outer Borough of New York City, both the live characters and puppet characters sing, and short animated video clips are played as part of the story.

Liza May Minnelli (born March 12, 1946 in Los Angeles, California) is an Academy Award-winning American actress and singer. She is the daughter of legendary entertainer Judy Garland and her second husband, acclaimed film director Vincente Minnelli (who was of Italian and French descent). Minnelli's first film appearance was at the age of three in the final scene of the 1949 musical In the Good Old Summertime, starring her mother and Van Johnson. Minnelli started performing at age 16, in 1963, in an Off-Broadway revival of the musical Best Foot Forward, for which she received good notices.
Matthew James Morrison (born October 30, 1978) is an American musical theater, film and television actor, singer, songwriter, and dancer. He was educated at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the Orange County High School of the Arts. He made his musical theater debut on Broadway in the musical version of Footloose, followed by a revival of the Rocky Horror Show. His big break came when he landed the role of Link Larkin in the Broadway production of John Waters' Hairspray.
