The Snake Corps

The Snake Corps came together in 1984 following the break-up of Sad Lovers & Giants (SL&G) the previous year.
Aiming for a harder-edged sound, core members Tristan Garel-Funk and Nigel Pollard advertised in the Melody Maker for the necessary musicians. After many auditions they settled on Marc Lewis and Liam McGuinness on vocals and bass respectively. This original incarnation set about establishing its own sound - recording demos of songs later to appear on the band

The Last Army

The Last Army is an indie rock band from London, United Kingdom. The band was formed in the summer of 2007 and currently consists of vocalist/guitarist Rebekah, guitarist/vocalist Micky, bassist Dan, keyboardist Gareth, and drummer James. In addition to the usual musical instruments like guitars and drums, they also incorporate violins, timpani, church organs, accordions, and harpsichords into their music. Daydream Nation

Ottawa, Canada's Daydream Nation features Pat Vaz (guitar/vocals) and Hunter Crowley (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released in October 2003 on the Los Angeles/Cleveland label Elephant Stone which drew praise from major publications such as The Big Takeover, Skyscraper, Exclaim, and Creem. Crowley got his start playing with The Last before doing time in The Brian Jonestown Massacre followed by recording and touring withThe Warlocks He joined Vaz for their own kind of neo-shoegazer mix in 2004.

Popguns

The Popguns were an indie rock band which played a part in the British jangle pop scene. Originally from Brighton, East Sussex, they formed in 1986 by vocalist Wendy Morgan, guitarists Simon Pickles and Greg Dixon plus bassist Pat Walkington and were joined by Shaun Charman, the former drummer for The Wedding Present in 1988.
Their first release, Where Do You Go?, came in the form of a flexi disc given away free with an issue of How Many Beans Make Five?, a local zine in 1988.

Sebadoh

Sebadoh is an indie-rock band originally formed in 1986 in Westfield, Massachusetts, by Dinosaur Jr. bass player Lou Barlow and Eric Gaffney. The band began as a side project, but when Barlow was kicked out of Dinosaur Jr in 1989, Sebadoh became his full-time concern. Along with such bands as Pavement and Guided by Voices, Sebadoh helped pioneer lo-fi, a style of indie-rock characterized by low-fidelity recording techniques, often on four-track machines.

You Am I

You Am I is a four-piece Australian alternative rock band, fronted by vocalist/guitarist and songwriter Tim Rogers. They were the first Australian band to have three albums consecutively debut at #1 on the ARIA Charts and are renowned for their energetic live shows. Tim Rogers formed the first version of the band with his school friend Nick Tischler and his older brother Jaimme in December 1989. This initial line-up was short lived and by the end of 1990 both Nick and Jaimme had left the band. They were replaced by the group's one-time sound mixer Andy Kent on bass and Mark Tunaley on drums.

Paul Draper

Paul Edward Draper (born 26 September 1970 in Wavertree, Liverpool) is an English singer-songwriter and was the lead singer for the rock band Mansun. Along with bassist Stove King, and guitarist Dominic Chad, Draper was a founding member of Mansun. In an uncredited role, he has worked with Paul Oakenfold on his album Bunkka. They recorded an instrumental trance song called "Descent" in 2000 which appeared on Oakenfold's record Perfecto Presents Travelling. During 2004 Paul compiled and mixed the aborted 4th album sessions for their release in the Kleptomania box set.
