Yungun

Yungun (a.k.a. Essa) is a UK hip-hop artist. He released his debut album The Essance on Janomi Records in 2004. He was born in North London where he currently works and resides. He went to school at the prestigious Eton College in Berkshire. He is well known for his work with many different UK artists; including LG & Lopez, Jehst and Lewis Parker. Yungun is currently training to be a solicitor.

Growing up in Nottingham, Cappo originally started out as a graffiti writer, but soon his love of hip hop culture led him to take on the challenge of MCing.

Phi-Life Cypher

Phi-Life Cypher is a Luton-based rap group. Arguably one of England's most talented hip hop acts, having cemented their reputation from underground hip hop clubs, today embracing their recent popularity. Phi-Life's achievements include appearing live on the Brit Awards, touring and appearing on B-side tracks with Gorillaz and DJ Vadim and being voted Best Live Act at Kings College, Cambridge. They are best known for their accomplished stage presence, freestyles and frenetic rhyming. Life and Si-Phili and are the MC's, with DJ Nappa providing the beats (DJ/Producer).

So Solid Crew

So Solid Crew are a UK garage and grime act whose hits include "Oh No" and "21 Seconds", the latter of which reached number one in the official UK Singles Chart in August 2001. Another hit, "They Don't Know", reached number three in November 2001 and "Haterz" got to number eight in January 2002. "Ride Wid Us" was less successful (UK number 19 in April 2002). They have also released a single, "Broken Silence" which spoke out about government prejudice which they had faced.

JME (real name Jamie Adenuga) is the owner & CEO of Boy Better Know, a North London-based record label, along with his brother Skepta. He started out producing on mobile phone ring tones, then moving on to Mario Paint, Game Boy Camera and currently Fruity Loops. Adenuga also co-owns with UpTown Records his own T-shirt chain, bearing the labels of himself, his record label Boy Better Know, and his dormant club night Straight Outta Bethnal. Just released his debut album Famous? and set release an album through a major label with his crew Boy Better Know.

Big Narstie

Big narstie is the largest and most exciting artist to emerge out of Brixton, South London. He is well known for his entertaining but gritty portrayals of inner city life and hardship. Big Narstie has collaborated with many of the Industry elite, including; N Dubz, Proffessor Green, Shystie, Bashy, and Wretch 32 among others. He has been featured in many videos on AKA (Channel U) and MTV Base, most notibly for his video collaboration with N Dubz (NAA vs NDubz) which was taken from the platinum selling album 'Uncle B'.

Life

Numerous artists have used the name Life, including: Life - a crasher crust punk band from Japan. Life - a Swedish power trio (Anders Nordh, Paul Sundlin and Thomas Rydberg) who released one self-titled album and two singles for EMI in 1970 and 1971. Life - a British quartet that made mainstream, somewhat bluesy, slightly prog-ish rock rather in the style of Argent or Wishbone Ash. Their one album for Polydor, 1974’s Life After Death, was produced by Chris White of The Zombies. Life’s keyboardist Ian Gibbons later ended up in The Kinks.
