There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Alba Parietti, born in Turin, Italy, 2 July 1961. Italian film actress, television presenter and entertainer. The former representative of the Italian Miss Universe contest became known in the 1980s with the Italo-Disco Song "Only Music Survives" and the less successful "Jump and Do It" and "Dangerous". 2) Alba was a short-lived traditional Scottish band formed in 1975 by Sean O' Rourke. Jacqui McShee

Jacqueline 'Jacqui' McShee (born 25 December 1943, in Catford, South East London) is an English singer. Since 1966 she has performed with Pentangle, a jazz influenced folk rock band. McShee's musical career began as a soloist in British folk clubs in the mid-1960s. After working with guitarist John Renbourn, she co-founded Pentangle. Pentangle rapidly established itself as one of the earliest exponents of the British folk rock movement.

Tim O'Brien

Tim O'Brien (b. March 16, 1954 in Wheeling, West Virginia) is an American bluegrass, old time and celtic musician. O'Brien plays guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki and mandocello and is an accomplished vocalist. He moved to Boulder, Colorado in the 1970s and became part of the music scene there. In 1978 he founded the bluegrass group Hot Rize. Hot Rize had its own offshoot band called Red Knuckles & the Trailblazers.

Maddy Prior

Maddy Prior (born 14 August 1947, Blackpool, England) is an English folk singer. One of the most accomplished female vocalists in the British folk music scene, Maddy Prior is best known as the lead singer in the electric folk-rock band Steeleye Span. In her teens Prior moved to St Albans, where she befriended the young Donovan Leitch and Mac MacLeod. She later formed a duo with MacLeod called Mac & Maddy. She became a roadie for visiting American musicians, including Reverend Gary Davis.
