"Over the past 8 years The Vatersay Boys have been creating a stir of madness and mayhem throughout the Western Isles and much further afield. Hailing from the Island of Vatersay, the most southerly populated isle of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, with a rising population of under 100, The Vatersay Boys are now well and truly established in the Celtic and Gaidhealtachd music scene. As a five-piece band , with Accordians, pipes, whistles, and guitar the energy-laden Vatersay Boys demonstrate their unique blend of Highland music.

Tiger Moth

Tiger Moth is an English country dance band originally formed in 1983 by Rod Stradling shortly after leaving the Old Swan Band. In addition to Stradling, the original members were guitarist Ian A. Anderson (of Hot Vultures fame), hammered dulcimer player Chris Coe and bass guitar and banjo player and vocalist Maggie Holland (also of Hot Vultures). Later they were joined by electric guitar and synthesizer player Jon Moore, drummer/percussionist John Maxwell, and keyboards and melodeon player Ian Carter.

Tickled Pink are: Simon Care; Gerald Claridge; Guy Fletcher; Roy Kay; Trevor Landen; Mark Hutchinson and Mark Jolley. They formed in 1989 as the 'perfect antidote' to the traditional country-bands at the time. The band proceeded to play many festivals around the UK including Fairport's Cropredy Convention, Glastonbury and Cambridge. Primarily an English Ceilidh Band, their style combines traditional English music with rave, reggae, blues, country, rap, and much more!

Threepenny Bit

A young and vibrant addition to the folk scene, Threepenny Bit folk and ceilidh band was formed from an unlikely combination of student-types in Southampton in 2010. Consisting of suitcase percussion, fiddle, flute, guitar and clarinet, they play a wide range of Irish, English, Cornish, Breton and Scottish diddly-dee music with a hint of klezmer! Threepenny Bit set the trend for “Half Price Busking” in the Summer of 2010, when they embarked upon a busking campaign to spread folk music to the four corners of Southern England.
