John Carty

John Carty is one of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians having been awarded the Irish Television station, TG4’s Traditional Musician of the Year in 2003. He joins previous acclaimed winners Matt Molloy (Chieftains flautist), Tommy Peoples (Master Fiddler), Mary Bergin (whistle player, Dordan), Máire Ní Chathasaigh (Harpist) and Paddy Keenan (Uilleann Piper), all of whom are considered to be the leading exponents of their instruments within the Irish tradition.

Flog the Bass

Following Pete emigrating and the death of Mike, Twisted Rootes member Lee(guitar n vocals) formed a new band with Rach(drums n fiddle) and Flog (the Bass!). Later Joined by Krissy on the cello and Phil on lead guitar - Flog The Bass carries on the folk/rock style.

Purbayan Chatterjee

Purbayan Chatterjee gave his first sensational performance at the age of 5 at the India Festival in Basel in 1982. He is accepted as the most gifted torch?bearer of the Senia?Maihar Gharana (school) of Baba Alauddin Khan and has become a powerful force in the Indian Classical Music scenario. At the very age of 3, he surprised his family and friends with his extraordinary capacity of annotating every single song that he heard at that tender age.

Alan Prosser

Alan Prosser is the lead guitarist and founding member of the English folk-rock group, the Oysterband. He also wrote or co-wrote many of the band's best loved songs. Alan has played with many groups in his career: The Clee Three; Madame John; Cuspidor; Beggar's Description; Fiddler's Dram (a moment's silence please); the Albion Band and, of course, the Oysterband. Prosser has released two solo albulms: Hall Place (1996) and Makerfield (2003), both of which were critically acclaimed.
