The Butterfly

The Butterfly’s only influences are; Volcanoes, ABBA, Joy Division, the stock-market, Hits from the 60s and 70s, Mr Leo Tolstoy, Carravaggio, Tool, Prince, Mr Oscar Wilde, Michael Jackson, Michael Patton, and the Beano 1989-1994. Having foraged in this fertile cultural undergrowth, the Butterfly pick the juiciest morsels and produce exciting, accessible mini rock-operas. At a performance of the Butterfly, the listener will be thrilled, serenaded and terrified in equal measures before they have to drag themselves back into reality.

The New Delamores

Really great three piece band from Leeds. First & foremost, they are great song-writers but its in the execution that makes The New Delamores really interesting. One foot in the sixties with groovy acoustic instrumentation a harmony backing vocals. Melodic, cool and of a standard that the vast majority of modern indie bands will never attain. Hella Cholla

With an ‘as recommended by’ accolade from Radio 1’s Annie Mac already on their CV this male/female duo are off to a great start. Henry Smith (The Sanctuary) says about them - “timeless and universally endearing…Yadi’s voice is infectious to the point of jealousy…they (Hella Cholla) write and perform songs you can sing along to by the final chorus on the first listen.” But beware “silly dancing is unavoidable”.
