Gary Stewart Band

The Gary Stewart Band are a six-piece folk-rock outfit from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Since their formation in 2003, the band has gone through various personnel and now consists of Gary on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Ruth Viqueira on drums and percussion, Jordan Senior on harmonica and backing vocals, India Patel on violin, Matt Peel on bass guitar, and Andy Hawkins(of Midget) on acoustic guitar and backing vocals. The Gary Stewart Band sound is Roots-based, with a balance of Folk and Blues.

Middleman make vibrant, ridiculously catchy tunes with an emphasis on booming bass, smart lyrics and a raucous live show. Its all about the gigs, the fun, the dancing, the friends and the music. Middleman are a four piece, based in Leeds who have already been kicking up something of a storm with their home-produced 3 song demo that they self released in late-2006. Receiving plugs and props from Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens on Radio 1, they have been back in the studio and July sees the release of their debut single on acclaimed indie label Bad Sneakers Records...

Buen Chico

Buen Chico are a young band from Leeds who are all around 20 years of age. Their songs are a fiery mix of pop, new wave, motown, alternative indie and punk inspired by the likes of Supergrass, The Ramones, The Kinks, Weezer, The Flaming Lips and The Pixies. After playing for nearly three years with such illustrious gig mates as Kaiser Chiefs, The Subways, The Kooks, Boy Kill Boy, The Long Blondes, GoodShoes, The Cribs, Forward Russia! and The Pipettes (and also featuring on the first Dance to the Radio compilation) their hard work has paid off.

Napoleon IIIrd

Napoleon IIIrd is a highly original singer-songwriter from Leeds. His music is a tangle of sounds and melodies made from piles of antique organs and car-boot keyboards, strummed chords and driving glitch-beats. Many of his songs are world-weary comments on modern life, set against an expansive musical backdrop. Napoleon IIIrd has released two early EPs and an album, entitled "In Debt To:", which met with widespread critical acclaim.

Black Wire

Black Wire were an English indie rock band from Leeds, UK. The band members were Daniel Wilson (Vocals), Si McCabe (Guitars, backing vocals), Tom Greatorex (Bass) and Danny Prescott (Drums). Black Wire formed in January 2003 and played their first gig within a month of forming, at the Leeds club night Pigs. They then went on to tour excessively playing with such bands as Bloc Party, The Libertines, HARD-Fi, The Cribs, Kaiser Chiefs and The Futureheads.
