DJ Kobayashi musical styles varies from Gypsy/Balkan/Swing/Rock&Roll music, to chill-out/future dub/dub-step and broken beats.
His influences as a DJ started from a very young age following his dad (Reuven Erez). He then knew what he was meant to do and started forming his collection and style.
Today he residencies including DJing at Dimba Presents - a monthly event of folk, Gypsy and Balkan music in London and he plays regulary at Stranger than Paradise/ Balkan Beats London and Twisted Gypsy - a Gypsy/Balkan/Swing nights that take place in different clubs around London.

The Bollywood Brass Band

A brass band in London that plays Bollywood - Indian film - music might seem unlikely. However, there's a strong Indian brass tradition - a legacy of the Raj- and there is such a band, called, remarkably, the Bollywood Brass Band, which has been in existence for almost a decade, a firm branch of the burgeoning Anglo-Asian music scene, with one self-titled album under their belts, and a new release on the way.

Mnozil Brass

Mnozil Brass is an Austrian brass ensemble septet, founded 1992.
All ( founding ) members have been graduates of the renowned Vienna College of Music, who met while playing at the Mnozil pub in Vienna's 1st inner city district. Music is presented in a typical Austrian humor style, which can be ( approximately ) characterized as jet black and here and there absurd. Elements of slapstick existent next to virtuosic brass playing. Notably Austrian and German Schlager songs of the 20. century are often caricatured, former member Sebastian Fuchsberger was a great talent in imitating e.

Wonderbrass

Wonderbrass formed in 1992 as a community street band from Pontypridd South Wales. Today they are bigger, bolder and brassier (pun intended) than ever before. Under the expert leadership of instrumentalist and composer Rob Smith and drummer extraordinaire Mark O’Connor, Wonderbrass are constantly evolving and exploring new musical challenges. Expect an intoxicating mix of jazz, Latin, ska and soul; a diverse repertoire including Cannonball Adderley, Abdulah Ibrahim and Madonna whilst indulging in a number of their own compositions along the way.

Globe-trotting riot jazzers Youngblood Brass Band are focused on creating consistently progressive, raw, acoustic music. The nine-member ensemble, born in Wisconsin, now hails from all over the United States (New York, NY / Corpus Christi, TX / New Orleans, LA / Chicago, IL / Madison, WI). They have been touring throughout Europe and the States for the past five years, performing in over fifteen countries and featured at the biggest music festivals in the world: Roskilde, Glastonbury, North Sea Jazz, Blue Note, WOMAD, etc.

Ray Anderson

Ray Anderson (born October 16, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois) is an independent jazz trombone and trumpet player. Anderson is a boisterous trombonist who is masterful at multiphonics. Trained by the Chicago Symphony trombonists, he is regarded as pushing the limits of the instrument. He is a contemporary and colleague of trombonist/composer George Lewis. Anderson also plays Sousaphone and sings. After spending study time in California, he moved to New York in 1973 and freelanced.

Mingus Big Band

"The Mingus Big Band is a jazz band, based in New York City, that specializes in the compositions of the late Charles Mingus. The band is managed by his widow, Sue Mingus. In addition to its weekly Monday night appearance at the Jazz Standard/Blue Smoke Barbecue in New York City, The Mingus Big Band also tours frequently in Europe and other parts of the world." The band are most notable for their very unique big band sound, which consists of many different parts all weaving around eack other to great effect.
