Captain Loveguns (and the Tale Tellin' Dead Men) were formed in early 2008. Citing themselves to be "the foremost purveyors of Pirate Rock Opera," their sound & stage show has frequently been described as being equal parts heavy metal, Monty Python & Rocky Horror. After a handful of successful local shows last year, the band's fan base has grown exponentially, and they are currently writing and rehearsing for a special anniversary show at the Civic Theater in Bedford on 18th July 2009. Support comes from Evil Scarecrow, ValenTone & the Nimblewits.
