King Porter Stomp

King Porter Stomp are an 8 piece juggernaut of funky ska based hip hop. With big brass, heavy bass and intense lyrics, they combine all manner of musical genres to bring an intense energy packed style all of their own.

Boo!

Boo! entered the South African music scene in October 1997, with their mind-bendingly weird, though deliciously consumable sound. The band describes their music as "Monki Punk", because it breaks away from the usual combination of bass, drums and guitar, and substitutes the guitar with brass and keyboard sounds. Discography:

After Hours

There are five artists named After Hours. 1) An australian Hip Hop quartet
2) A Hard Rock band, similar to Whitesnake and Journey
3) A California ska supergroup featuring members of See Spot, Hepcat, King Apparatus, Ocean 11, and Jump With Joey. Their CD The Trouble With These Guys Is... was recorded in 2000.
4) Andrew Richardson who produced the 1991 deep house anthem "Waterfalls" on the seminal Strictly Rhythm label.
5.) A Staffordshire based female fronted rock band

Babyboom

Babyboom are the acoustic sideproject of Sonic Boom six, with additional organ and trumpet players. They play a blend of acoustic, ska, folk and reggae. As opose to Sonic Boom the prodominant song writer of the band is guitarist Ben with the lyrical content being less overtly political. Two Babyboom tracks feature on the Sonic Boom Six compilation; 'Champion Edition'on Moon Ska Europe, however a four song EP has also been released independantly by the band. Matthew Reyonlds of Howards Alias and Thinkpol features on half of these tracks.
