Milkwood (1) Milkwood (2006 - present) are an unconventional folk trio featuring Truly Johnston (vocals, guitar, violin etc.), Olly Stirrup (bass, guitar etc.) Alex Iossifidis (drums etc.). Influenced by 60s Folk and Blues (Renbourn and Jansch, Fairport Convention, Neil Young), early Punk Rock, Post-Rock, Americana and various Lo-fi genres. More recent influences include Neutral Milk Hotel, Bonnie Prince Billy, Smog / Bill Callahan and Nina Nastasia.
