I Am Three are an acoustic duo from Manchester; Band members Hughes (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Irving (double bass/harmonica/vocals) opposing interests create a genre defying mix of identifiable styles such as grunge, alt-folk, blues & hip-hop. “You see a lot of cold play, James blunt and jack Johnson rip offs on the acoustic circuit, we’d like to think we are as far cry from that as possible, upbeat soulful , whilst remaining true to our roots acoustic sound” - Hughes
